Background
Ayanna grew up in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Virginia Beach in 2013. Upon graduating from Ocean Lakes High School in 2019, Ayanna attended Tidewater Community College, where she earned her associate degree in paralegal studies along with two certificates. Upon completing her degree, Ayanna began working for a small family law firm, primarily assisting with Guardian ad litem and criminal matters in the juvenile and domestic relations court.
Practice Area
Ayanna’s primary role at Alperin Law is Legal Assistant in the Trust and Estate Administration Department, but she also intermittently assists in the Tax Department as well. Ayanna is very client-oriented; she excels in customer service, assisting clients with her positive demeanor and thoroughness.
Outside of the Office
You can often find Ayanna and her fiancé playing fetch with their furry family members, a rambunctious Boxer and a fun-loving kitty. Ayanna also enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends and making fun cocktails! Singing has always been a hobby of Ayanna’s, and she spent many years from middle school through college performing in Choir. Ayanna has even performed at Disney’s Epcot twice!

Ayanna came to Alperin Law in July 2023. Ayanna’s favorite part about working at Alperin Law is the lovely people she works with every day. Since beginning at Alperin Law, Ayanna has learned a lot about the probate process in addition to estate and trust administration, and she looks forward to learning even more.
